Grain reception and storage of grain is one of the most important activities in AD “Žitosrem”.
The quality of wheat and health safety are significant not only for our own production (mill, bakery, confectionery products and feed for animal), but also for customers of all our products. We manage that by storing them in controlled optimal conditions, with drying if necessary. Our goal is to collect sufficient amounts of high quality wheat and corn, and then, with expertise, translate into a series products of technologically impeccable form, to the satisfaction of our customers.
Cooperation and ongoing education concerning the assortment of suppliers, wheat farming technology, provides the ability to significantly influence the quality the initial raw material.
The total capacity of the silo for storage is 40,000 tons.
The silos are located in Inđija, and the purchase is organized on the whole territory of the municipality (in our purchase places in Novi Karlovci, Krčedin, Novi Slankamen, Surduk and Ljukovo) and beyond through the network partner companies.
Silos have two suction hoppers, two weighbridges and all the necessary equipment for controlled storage.
Through constant quality checks of stored goods and monitoring the condition of grain mass the risks of losses during storage are excluded.
Absorption capacity is 3500 t/24h and of deliveries is slightly smaller.
Grain dryer has a nominal capacity of 32 t/h and is within the silo.
It enables drying large quantities of grain in the season of purchase in order to avoid creating bottlenecks at the reception.
In combination with the latest generation of silo aspirators the result is clean and dry grain, so all the preconditions for longer storage of goods are created.
Žitorsrem AD provides services of grain drying, storage and loading under controlled conditions.
We also offer procurement of raw materials through the organization of production adjusted to selection of varieties, hybrids and mineral fertilizer to each contractor with the lowest rate.
We also have a network of 13 retail shops and we market our products through a distribution network of retail chains such as MERKATOR, IDEA, UNIVEREXPORT, DIS, SUPER VERO, MIKROMARKET, BB TRADE, ZELENA PIJACA, ANGOPROMET and several small retail stores.
The beginning of each good product is selection of exquisite materials of high quality. For our flour we single out only the best wheat from our silo, controlled and of well-known quality. That is why the mill products of “Žitosrem” are famous for its quality for decades.
Wheat mill has a capacity of 120t/24h. The technological process takes place in three departments:
The production of different types of flour, from standard ones to ones for special purpose, such as a consumer semolina and pasta semolina is enabled. By-products of the milling are wheat bran and corn meal.
Flour silo has a capacity of 800 t. Products are packed in different packaging units and it is bulk deliveries are also possible.

Crusts are produced on an industrial line with the capacity of 200 kg/h from specially selected flour.
Žitosrem AD has a well-equipped laboratory, which is used for our own purposes. We control the quality of all incoming raw materials, production process as well as finished products. The result of these activities is constant – distinctive quality of our products.
If necessary, we cooperate with external accredited laboratories. Analyzes are conducted according to previously planned activities or on demands of our customers.
Waffles production facility has a capacity of approximately 1000 kg/24h. The facility has equipment for chocolate coating so that in addition to standard waffles of different flavors there can also products dressing be made.
Another in a series of activities is wholesale and retail of grain.

Grain transport and trade is done by planning (contracting) the quantity and quality of grain, before starting a production, as a guarantee of understanding the needs of our clients.
